Professional Development and Training

The Mailman Segal Center serves as a training and professional development site for university undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students and includes students from the following areas of study:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Nursing
  • Dentistry
  • Pediatric medicine
  • Psychology (School, Clinical, and Counseling)
  • Family therapy
  • Conflict resolution
  • Human services
  • Developmental disabilities
  • Speech-language pathology
  • Education

In 2016-2017, over 18,000 hours of on-site professional development experiences were provided at the Mailman Segal Center for Nova Southeastern University’s students and faculty.
