Accreditation

The Mailman Segal Center for Human Development (MSC) maintains accreditation with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Accreditation means that MSC meets the highest national standards for quality early education.

  • NAEYC research-based accreditation program standards and assessment items are regarded as a reputable indicator of quality and reflect guidance from many stakeholders and policy-makers.
  • NAEYC accreditation ensures that programs are safe, well-prepared, and intentional about ensuring all children’s success.
  • NAEYC accreditation correlates with children’s greater readiness and success in school and beyond.
  • Less than 6 percent of early childhood programs nationally have achieved NAEYC accreditation.

The faculty and staff of MSC continually work to ensure all children receive the highest quality early care and education. In addition to NAEYC accreditation, MSC is proud to be accredited by National Association of Laboratory Schools, the Association of Independent Schools of Florida, and the National Coalition of Campus Children’s Centers.
